The CNC Workshop JAVA Classes and JAVA VM Update page

Last Update: 05/28/2004

Note: Prior to installing the CNC Workshop update package it is advised to update to the latest Java Virtual Machine
Please note! Microsoft no longer ships the Java Virtal Machine (JVM) on any of the new Windows XP OSes.

This has caused the CNC Workshop not to function properly once installed.
If you've applied Windows 2000 SP4 then you will need to first install a base JVM like
3805 or 3809 before updating to the latest 3810 build. You can install the Microsoft
Java Virtual Machine from the Download page located at the following URLs:

You can check if you have a JVM by running the following from the command prompt;
C:>jview
or
from the 'Start' ... 'Run' enter wjview and you should get a dialog for the JVM
if you get a 'File Not Found' or 'Cannot find file...' then you don't have the JVM showing
the version number.

If you don't have a Microsoft JVM on your system then first install JVM 3805
here http://www.cncworkshop.com/javaupdate/JVM/3805/msjavx86.exe

If you do have a Microsoft JVM on your system then install JVM 3810 update
here http://www.cncworkshop.com/javaupdate/JVM/3810/MSJavWU.exe

Once you have installed the JVM and the CNC WORKSHOP CD
you can update the Java Classes here
